Regular dental checkups can detect cavities before they become a problem

Cavities happen when bacteria feeds on sugars in your mouth, producing acids that wear away your tooth enamel and create small holes. If the decay isn’t detected early enough, the bacteria and acids continue to damage your tooth until – ouch! – they reach the pulp at the centre. If you leave a small cavity untreated, it can become a big problem that requires root canal therapy.

Fortunately, with regular dental checkups, we can detect cavities before they become painful – and you can prevent them entirely with regular brushing and flossing, and a healthy diet.

Our tooth-coloured fillings keep your cavity a secret!

When we find a cavity in your tooth, we remove the decay and fill the tooth with a high-strength composite or silver amalgam filling. Our composite fillings are tooth-coloured, so that you will be the only person who knows you have a filling!
